Sacred Fire Lodge |

Sacred Fire Lodge is a transitional housing program for American Indian men who are homeless, unemployed and recovering from chemical dependency. This program provides safe, sober housing and social service referral, as well as access to a multitude of important cultural observations and community events, such as Native drum groups, talking circles, pow-wows and other traditional ceremonies. Sacred Fire Lodge has served over 90 men, and documents a success rate of over 70% with residents who maintain their sobriety, enter educational programs or employment, and securing permanent housing. |
